In this role, you will supervise the transaction recording process for assigned area of responsibility to ensure data, funding and ownership interests are accurately reflected in BB&T's general ledger and subsidiary accounting records in the proper period, and that transactions and related documentation are completed in a manner consistent with existing policies and standards.
In this role, the selected candidate will help ensure complete and up-to-date operating procedures and effective internal controls are in place while providing a safeguard of assets and reliability of financial reporting.
In this role, the selected candidate will manage federal credits and incentive opportunities, including research and development tax credit/deduction analyses, Section 199 deduction engagements, and other federal credit incentive service offerings.
In this role, the selected candidate will supervise the processes and procedures to record, monitor, maintain and settle transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
The Sr. Accounting Manager must have strong communication skills and must be process-oriented. Will be heavily involved in setting up new financial systems; knowledge of automation potential within financial processes is a plus.
In this role, the selected candidate must have an excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills including proficiency in U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Accounting Services Board (FASB) rules and standards.
