This engineer works in a fast-paced environment alongside a broader R&D team engaged in product development. She/He will work closely with colleagues in other functions like quality and regulatory to enable robust, reliable and safe system performance. As directed by the Director, Quality Engineering, the Staff Quality Engineer I is accountable for support in the continued development, improvement, and expansion of the Diabetes Care WW Quality Management System as well as maintaining compliance with regulations, standards, and corporate requirements.
The candidate is expected to interact with the UTRC Program Offices and United Technologies Corporation (UTC) business units to enhance existing programs in the area of design of electric motors and generators for a large range of UTC products.
The Systems and Analysis Group provides technical analyses to senior USAF leadership on a broad range of issues, including survivability of advanced USAF aircraft versus modern air defenses; the impact of current and future electronic attack and electronic protection techniques; the effectiveness of advanced weapon systems; the capabilities and limitations of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems; and the vulnerability of precision-guided munitions to threat counters.
Candidate will work with circuit designers, material suppliers, internal and external manufacturing facilities, and reliability engineering to define and develop MCM and leadframe packages and assembly technology to meet critical objectives for cost, reliability, and manufacturability.
Develop, design, analyze, and specify innovative electrical components and sub-systems using applied mathematics, physical sciences, modeling and advanced electrical engineering technologies and practices for possible integration into next generation elevator and escalator: including embedded systems, discrete control, sensors, actuators, communication, and network connectivity.
In this role, the selected candidate will contribute to the innovation, evolution, and maintenance of a broad set of electrical engineering systems to facilitate research and product development efforts of the Institutes bioinspired robotics research areas.
