In this role, you will provide project engineering leadership for one or more cross functional teams charged with sustaining fielded engines, supporting production of new engines, and/or developing new prototype engines.
The successful candidate will work with a multi-disciplined technical design and project management team in executing the engineering design process for supplier designed sensors, ignition components, engine wiring harnesses, and alternator/generators.
In this role, you will perform and direct others in the detailed design of medium to extra high voltage utility substations including one-line diagrams, elementary and wiring diagrams, SCADA, communications, conduit and cable sizing/routing, substation physical layouts, selection of substation equipment, writing of substation equipment specifications, proposal development, construction cost estimates, and project scheduling.
In this role, the selected candidate will interface with the System Design disciplines to support trade studies; understand the simulations utilized to troubleshoot system design issues and make design decisions for both component and software/control changes.
