The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will hold a leadership role in the engineering department. Will assume responsibility for, and direct manufacturing engineers in new product introduction and manufacturing floor support.
In this role, you will provide technical support to manufacturing, marketing, purchasing and customer assurance for a wide variety of products to ensure conformance to company and customer requirements.
In this role, the selected candidate will be designing building mechanical systems (HVAC) including appropriate system concepts, calculations, energy modeling, layout, sizing, selections, specifications and coordination.
In this position, you will support technology transfer of processes / products; this includes fixture design, process validation, work instructions, sampling plans, process controls, test methods, and measurement techniques.
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will contribute directly to the execution of technology and product development projects & strategy through technical product development and leadership of a diverse and talented team of Engineers.
In this role, the selected candidate will be working at the direction of the engineering leader, to oversee internal and external resources, in the development of manual / semi-automated / full-automated processes for product assembly.
In this role, you will create and support assembly processes, bills of material, routings, labor standards, procedures, and PFMEA's for mixed model scientific instruments in the new product introduction (NPI) lifecycle.
In this role, you will coordinate with the customer and program technical resources to ensure milestones for design and configuration management are met; develop technical approaches or analyses for cost estimation and execution; and support associated Technical Drawing Packages (TDPs) and technical documents.
