Understanding of the hedge funds under administration (legal structure, investment objective, fee structure, liquidity provisions, etc.); understanding of securities valuation, settlement properties and attributes.
The Senior Accountant will be involved in numerous parts of the accounting / finance function including but not limited to, general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, revenue analysis, variance analysis, financial reporting, and other project based work.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely investment accounting and client reporting for Asset and Wealth Managers. The individual will be responsible for producing daily, monthly, and quarterly deliverables including account reconciliation, trade settlements, security master maintenance, security pricing, proxy voting, corporate actions processing, performance and reporting to clients.
In this role, you will assist project team members in creating purchase orders, reviewing terms and conditions, ensuring appropriate insurance certificates are requested and received, and ensuring appropriate lien administration.

The Senior Accounting Associate is responsible to perform month-end financial close on several business units, will support and work closely with Finance and other groups in all aspects of the day to day accounting and special (complex) projects.
The team is responsible for corporate finance (Budgeting, FP&A Projects, variance analysis), accounting, financial reporting and consolidation services, and the preparation of financial statements for the numerous legal entities and partnerships.
