The Sr. DBA develops solutions to complex problems providing technical support in the definition, design, and creation of database environments, the development of database solutions for business problems, data architectures, database management system facilities and capabilities, as well as the operation and tuning of databases.
This position works with the Client's technical community to design, create, deploy and manage the SQL Server environment. The SQL Server Data Architect collaborates with the technical team to determine how the data will be stored, consumed, integrated and managed by different data entities, systems and applications.
The SQL Server Database Administrator will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and backup/ recovery, and directory set up for the designated database systems and applications.
In this role, the selected candidate will align solutions to road maps for existing data mart and data management solutions across multiple business lines Contribute to data strategies for the migration of legacy applications.
Responsible for establishing and managing to quality control and security protocols relative to database security Provides the division, department and business area management with timely and accurate information regarding the status and performance of the assigned project(s).
In this role, the selected candidate must have an extensive experience with SQL 2012-2014 Architecture i.e. Availability Groups. Install, configure and maintain MS SQL Server 2008-2014 cluster environment including AlwaysOn Availability Groups and Active-Active failover clustering implementations.
