The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for implementing and supervising all activities in the Cell Culture production area in a commercial manufacturing setting to ensure that manufacturing goals and project deadlines are met while maintaining strict compliance with current good manufacturing practices (CGMPs), environmental health and safety (EHS) guidelines and all other regulatory requirements.
In this role, the selected candidate will oversee the performance of all maintenance work packages, deliver on schedule and meet budget obligations for assigned aircraft, and serve as primary point-of-contact for customer during the maintenance process.
In this role, you will be responsible for the day to day maintenance and efficient operation of all building automation systems and related equipment as well as assisting the Operations Manager with building functions.
The Manufacturing Engineering Development (MED) Program is a two-year rotational program targeted to prepare new college graduates for a career in manufacturing engineering. The program offers challenging assignments in the many disciplines of Manufacturing which include part manufacturing, assembly, and specialties such as Coating, Welding, Forging, and Machining.
This position is responsible to plan, lead and coordinate all operational functions on the manufacturing floor through daily management performance measurements to positively impact performance and quality. Key result measures include but are not limited to cost control, productivity, waste, quality, safety, housekeeping, maintenance, strict adherence to planned customer schedules and training.
In this role, you will optimize use of raw materials, equipment and personnel in producing quality products and lead/participate in continuous improvement initiatives as part of Shires commitment to operational excellence.
