As the Human Resources Partner, you will be responsible for working closely with line management and executive teams and other functional areas to proactively address business issues related to workforce development and productivity.
Responsible for the administration of the human resources policies and procedures as outlined by corporate headquarters. Hands-on responsibility for benefits administration, payroll processing through a third party service, employee relations, training, safety, recruiting and on-boarding, payroll, HRIS, employment law compliance and assisting with succession planning.
The HR Business Consultant (HRBC) will work primarily with managers of associates for a business unit and become a valued contributor by managing the delivery of our HR policies, executing business specific projects and initiatives relating to people and demonstrating leadership in human resources decisions, procedures and programs.
Assess, evaluate, and anticipate HR needs that meet the requirements of both the employees and the company. Support the overall compensation and benefits programs, HR/payroll support, recruiting, and training.; provide guidance and recommendations to executive management to support a best-in-class HR function.
Consult with line management to determine staffing needs and be responsible for the full recruiting and onboarding lifecycle;consult with line management concerning employee issues and provide counsel to foster a positive and diverse working environment.
The HR Consultant serves as the primary point of contact for all HR matters including recruiting and on-boarding, performance management, interpretation and application of HR policies and business processes, collective bargaining agreement administration, and HR services for a group of assigned management team clients.
Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with internal and external legal resources as needed/required.
Develop metrics to gauge employee satisfaction and present aggregate results along with action plans to improve satisfaction and productivity to strengthen client satisfaction and increase productivity.
