The Director of Finance will play a critical leadership role within the Finance Department. This position will be responsible for directing the Firms finance operations including, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, expense control, banking relationships, audit, tax, cash management, billings, collections, month end close, financial statement preparation, treasury, corporate tax returns, client trust account activity and risk management.
In this role, you will directs the institution's payroll systems, including establishing payroll schedules. Ensures compliance of various statutes and governmental directives concerning taxes and employee and institutional records.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for general ledger financial reporting including preparing financial statements and related monthly financial reports; perform consolidation of all legal entities and preparing consolidated balance sheet, income statements and statement of cash flows.
The Controller/Director of Finance will report into the CFO and will lead the corporate accounting team. Responsibilities will include global consolidation, monthly close, performance results, review of external SEC reporting and technical memorandum, and involved with system enhancements.
