Calculate and analyze benchmarks and ensure schedules are in compliance and accordance to legal documents. Prepare capital account allocation schedules (ie capital calls, distributions, income) for all partners.
Provide strategic advice and day to day legal counsel to company and its subsidiaries on a global basis including negotiating contracts related to licenses, service and supply agreements and consulting agreements.
Perform the role of key business partner to leaders of both the Finance and Legal Organizations by providing financial and operational analysis and guidance to assist them in operating more efficiently and effectively.
In addition to CI, the ideal candidate would bring an integrated approach to the practice that would include workplace in our other markets including Higher Education, Healthcare, Sports and Recreation, Science and Technology and Commercial, Cultural and Civic projects.
This associate position will include general representation of businesses and non-profit organizations in a wide range of sophisticated matters with a particular emphasis in federal and state tax planning and controversies, tax exempt organizations, tax exempt bonds, employee benefits, ERISA and merger and acquisition transactions.
The expectation will be that all Account Executives become a brand enthusiast for our client's product and work in collaboration with the marketing team and the technology departments to implement new ideas and strategy.
The successful candidate must have at least 8 years of general corporate practice group experience. Expertise in one of the following areas: corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, tax, or real estate is a plus.
