The Network Architect reports to the Manager Network Services. Under general supervision is responsible for enterprise level design and control of Lifespans converged voice/data/video communications network.
Participates in the delivery and administration system to development efforts includes direction of business process management, support of Technology partners, support of staff support (training assets, Claims, etc.) and support of other internal and external constituencies/vendors.
In this role you will work on various challenging projects and strategies involving web services, data warehouses/BI, cloud, trading, middle office and accounting systems, integration patterns and best practices, and business intelligence. You will be constantly learning about new business topics, technologies, and systems.
This position is accountable for the strategic design and management of the corporate Windows Server farm to guarantee timely, efficient, accurate and uninterrupted service in support of an Integrated Delivery System.
Works closely with other IT groups and Business Groups, to coordinate current and future plans and activities including coordination and technical assistance to facilitate specific development projects that involve the computing environment, the coordination of software upgrades and the installation of new products.
The CSE also works across programs to ensure we are appropriately leveraging technology reuse to speed product development in alignment with the Product Road Maps and Technical Road Maps that you help create.
The Architect will collaborate with Product Management, Development Teams and other members of the Core Technology Services team to design and implement software solutions that align with Ultimate Software's business goals and technology strategy.
