The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) is responsible for driving improvements within Thermo Fisher Scientific and our supply-chain. The primary focus of this position is to work with our key suppliers to ensure product quality and timely deliveries.
Assessing the integrated test needs, understanding the software features and architecture, defining a test strategy, working with developers to get the test environment set up, and implementing/executing test cases.
Analyze test results to certify existing functionality and integrations, and recommend corrective action upon failures; perform testing as needed: functional, exploratory, ad-hoc, smoke, regression, and system testing
Experience designing and developing manual and automated tests for mobile devices client side mobile application expert with shipped products on either Android and iOS platforms both platforms preferred.
Work with the engineering team to review product code changes, develop feature test plans and test suites, peer review automation code, and oversee execution of manual and automated testing in accordance with the test plan.
Includes the ability to evaluate large security enterprises and their SOC organizations, development of strategic roadmaps to drive growth and maturity, as well as knowledge on how to implement and drive a plan for transforming an organization to their desired end state.
The Quality Assurance Engineer will work with the Project Managers, Developers, QA & DevOps Engineering Manager, and Director of eCommerce Technology to ensure all technologies are tested across operating system, browser and form factors and working as designed.
The Quality Engineer Outage Services will support the Quality System needs of the Outage Services Division and provide a resource for developing and implementing good Quality practices while supporting the Divisions overall business objectives.
