The Water Resources Project Engineer supports project initiatives, such as: stream, river and estuary restoration; Hydrologic, Hydraulic, and Geomorphic Analyses; bioengineering, urban stormwater retrofit, stormwater treatment/green infrastructure, flood hazard mitigation, and infrastructure master planning.
Work on a variety of office and field assignments, with a focus on geotechnical engineering analyses, development of drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical memoranda that present the basis of design.
This person will be responsible to develop annual capital budgets and support plant continuous improvement projects; this position will also assist in technical training, energy management and energy reduction plans.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise, management, and leadership to the mechanical project team; attending client meetings; performing construction phase services; mentoring less experienced staff; assisting with the development of engineering agreements; and business development. Some travel will be required.
