The HPC software development team is looking for world class, dedicated, team-focused developers and HPC application specialists to contribute to a wide array of projects focusing on parallel computing.
The Hardware Design Engineer is responsible for conducting board level analysis for client system, development. Along with the PCB pathfinder, the HWDE will generate the core routing processor/chipset design that will be leveraged by both our internal and external customers.
Provide an optimized writing system design to achieve performance and reliability goals through iterative, integrated development, testing, and evaluation of various writing system components (printheads, inks, media, mechs, service stations, printmodes, ink delivery systems & supplies.).
Develops reliability testing initiatives for new products or systems. Reviews engineering specifications and drawings from a reliability perspective and advises engineers on product design modifications.
The successful candidate will participate in design, development, and delivery of standard cell libraries using world-leading process technology for use by Intels product design teams and Foundry customers.
The design of chip layout circuit design, circuit checking, device evaluation and characterization, documentation of specifications, prototype construction and checkout, modification and evaluation of semiconductor devices and components, performing developmental and/or test work, reviewing product requirements and logic diagrams, planning and organizing design projects or phases of design projects.
The Hardware Design Engineers within this team are engaged in all aspects of instrument development ranging from the initial conceptual design/ proto-typing phase all the way to the final high-volume manufacturing ramp of the product
Codes and programs enhancements, updates, and changes for portions and subsystems of end- user applications software running on local, networked, and Internet- based platforms based on specific requirements and instructions.
