Responsible for managing the care of critically ill neonates with life-threatening conditions including respiratory distress, neurologic complications, gastrointestinal diseases, renal abnormalities, neonatal abstinence syndrome as well as many other medical and surgical diagnosis.
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) works as part of the Clinical Operations Team, providing clinical assessment and care to assigned patients in their homes and in skilled nursing facilities; identifying quality improvement activities and planning individualized health care consistent with Matrix Medical Network policy protocols.
The Providence Child Center, on the Providence Portland campus, is home to the Center for Medically Fragile Children, Providence Neurodevelopmental Center for Children, Providence Special Needs Dental Clinic, and the Swindells Resource Center. Providence St. Vincent Medical Center offers Pediatric Primary Care, Pediatric Acute Care, Pediatric Specialty Care, and the Westside Providence Neurodevelopmental Center for Children.
In this role, you will perform comprehensive health assessment of clients by completing a physical and psychosocial history; identify actual and potential health needs based on medical, mental/emotional, financial, and social factors.
