The Inside Partner Sales Representative will create and expand existing product and service channels, enabling Partners to address customer demand and capture market opportunity beyond Puppet core focus and resources.
The individual in this role is responsible for answering product inquiries, taking customer orders, coordinating delivery with Dispatch, and coordinating with internal company departments and vendors in a fast-paced office. Customers include distributors, developers, contractors, and installers. This position is often combined with customer service initiatives and providing support to Outside Sales Representatives as needed.
In this role, the selected candidate will drive revenue by effectively addressing the customers needs, offering appropriate value proposition solutions, creating urgency, and closing accounts over the phone.
In this role they will target quote conversion, incremental product and service upselling, reactivation of inactive and under performing accounts, pursue new accounts. The Inside Sales Representative will follow upon market campaigns and coordinate customer visits for the sales team.
In this role, you will qualifies and Generates leads through web searches, search engines and cold calling prospective and existing customers in assigned area to seek out and develop new business and product applications, and increases market share.
In this role, you will conduct inside sales activities including prospecting and developing opportunities, closing sales, preparing activity and forecast reports, updating and maintaining the sales database, and assisting sales management in conveying customer needs to product managers and technical support staff.
