The position holder is responsible for the effective utilization of enterprise resource planning tools (ERP) to facilitate the efficient planning, to support the manufacturing process and on-time delivery of products and services to the companys customers. These responsibilities include the purchasing, scheduling, warehousing and distribution of raw materials and finished goods.
In this role, the selected candidate will identify opportunities for operational excellence, cost savings, operational cost avoidance, effectiveness, and productivity improvement in order to achieve customer satisfaction and favorable cost structure.
The position is directly responsible for successfully planning, organizing, coordinating and leading a team of inventory professionals during assigned inventory events, for meeting client expectations and for satisfying company productivity, efficiency, accuracy.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for developing raw materials plans to support sales forecasts, providing inventory projections, and identifying opportunities to improve inventory management.
In this role, the selected candidate will direct, manage and coordinate logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer service activities. Lead and direct strategic planning for logistics and customer services.
The Purchasing Manager will conduct the business units purchasing processes to include vendor solicitation and pre-qualification; contract bidding, negotiation and award; vendor performance feedback and monitoring; dispute resolution; and vendor management.
Assists with and follows-up on non-conformances, investigations, complaints, etc. Assures that issues are resolved in a timely manner and corrective actions are implemented and monitor effectiveness to prevent recurrence.
