This Mechanical Engineer must be proficient with SolidWorks 3-D CAD design and have past work related experience designing heavy equipment (hydraulics, pneumatics, chain driven gears, and large scale mechanical power transmission).
Work on new product engineering team to develop products for all product lines. The team's primary goal is to develop detailed mechanical component and system designs to meet new product specifications.
Coordinate and participate in scheduled/preventive maintenance on all production equipment; install, inspect, repair and maintain the mechanical, electrical and other related systems in all production and supporting departments.
This person will provide curtain wall, panel, stone, enclosure calculations, review and coordination of shop drawings with engineering, glass analysis, thermal analysis, specialty structural analysis, architectural components, aluminum, steel, concrete, and wood design and engineering as it relates to cladding structures.
Support the design, fabrication, and/or modification of key components for new and existing prototypes of systems under development via Additive Manufacturing and/or conventional manufacturing tools and techniques.
The Project Engineer would be responsible for the technical correctness of the work assigned and must hold a Professional Engineer license. He/She will supervise staff and coordinate project teams as required.
Improves reliability of the physical assets by eliminating failures through development of a sound proactive maintenance strategy, analysis of failure causes, recommending design enhancements, and developing improved repair methods.
Management responsibilities include supervision of design and drafting staff, coordination with clients and associates, and organization of design and construction administration activities to meet established schedules and budgets.
