The Plant Manager is responsible for effectively planning, directing and coordinating all activities of the Massillon, OH Plant. Responsibilities include safety, environmental, quality, production, cost control and leadership of the Plant workforce.
Responsible for production schedules and performance standards for measuring progress. Monitors daily operations to identify and resolve problem areas relating to staffing, scheduling, tooling, safety, quality and production line arrangement.

As the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will apply Lean Manufacturing strategies to create processes, tools, procedures, and culture that help bring CRL's product offerings to new levels of quality, reliability, and value.
Lead customer interaction efforts to be able to do research and analysis to determine customer needs of their equipment, all product specifications, manuals and the feasibility of the actual design of the product.
The principal purpose of the Manufacturing Manager is to manage and drive change within the Polymer Additives and Nitriles (PANIT) unit at the Akron Plant to improve HSE, Cost, Quality and Productivity Performance.
Manage, direct and coordinate all operations directly related to production and shipment of all products produced by the facility: Materials Management, Manufacturing and Manufacturing Systems, Facilities Engineering/Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Shipping and Receiving, Process Engineering, Purchasing.
Responsibilities also include the application of Engineering principles through participation in the collection and analysis of data and the initial preparation of satisfactory designs and technical reports.
This role will be responsible for scheduling production, overseeing welding procedures, coordinating the efforts of inspection associates, supporting inventory management/procurement, and directing the work of production associates with an eye towards optimizing quality and workplace safety. Hands-on welding skills are required in order to develop and prove out new welding techniques.
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the plants lean activities. Will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.
