The Executive Assistant (EA) to the Chair of Psychiatry will have a multifaceted position serving as the major support person to the Chair and the senior point person for projects initiated by the Chair.
Compose and/or edit / distribute letters, memos, reports and other departmental correspondence. Keep track of when recurrent reports are due and meetings are scheduled, including maintaining lists of recipients and / or participants.
The Assistant Professor will have responsibilities to teach graduate and undergraduate courses; supervise speech-language pathology graduate student clinicians; contribute to school with research/scholarship and service.
Teach courses within his/her discipline, actively contribute to department and university service, and engage in academic research. She/he must be able to teach courses in the evening, on the weekend, or online.
The Assistant Professor will teach courses in undergraduate and/or graduate programs in Nursing. Involvement with research and scholarly activities is expected along with participation in School, College and University service.
In addition to building and externally funded research program in advanced manufacturing, the successful applicant will be expected to direct graduate and undergraduatee student research in their area of expertise.
Teach clinical and/or didactic counseling courses, advise students, and provide program/school service primarily in the Counselor Education and Supervision Doctoral Program (Counselor Education track) and as needed in the School Counseling Masters Program.
Applicants will establish a strong, externally funded research program related to polymer rheology, direct M.S. and Ph.D. students, teach graduate and undergraduate classes, and contribute to the functioning of the department, college, and university through service on committees and participation in departmental activities.

The provider will support family medicine and acute care medical visits making professional judgments, ordering appropriate diagnostic tests, reviewing results, counseling patients, making appropriate recommendations, and prescribing medications all in accordance with hospital mission and values.
