The Software Test Engineer defines software test strategy, test metrics and industry standard reports leveraging standard tools to design and develop software with sound, repeatable, industry best practices and in accordance with software development process.
In this role, you will develop test programs on automated test equipment (ATE) to validate, characterize, and production-test analog and mixed-signal semiconductor devices, like ADCs, DACs, Digital Potentiometers, Op Amps, Temperature Sensors, and Energy Metering products.
You will plan and execute test tasks that include interpreting test requirements, writing test plans, designing test hardware, designing test software and testing and debugging deliverable hardware for commercial, military, and space markets.
In this role, you will design material gathering, development of test strategy, determining test parameters, specifying tests to be performed, conducting design reviews, designing and debugging test fixtures, resolving design and implementation issues, performing testability and fault coverage analysis, and meeting production quality and reliability requirements throughout the product life cycle.
In this role, you will perform research, design, and development of test equipment software, library, program flow, fixture, hardware, probing, module and/or tester for main and/or peripheral printed boards assembly (pba).
In this role, you will be responsible to work closely with architects, developers and project managers to implement testing tools and testing frameworks for end to end test automation efforts across the enterprise.
