In this role, the selected candidate will work collaboratively with ON Semi-conductor Planning team in delivering projects through requirements gathering, design, development, unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing and deployment phases.
Candidates applying for this position must be able to monitor and maintain production Microsoft SQL Servers, optimize and troubleshoot the data warehouse, be involved in the design and implementation of the various production and non-production data systems, plan and execute migration efforts from legacy data systems to current gen platforms, help implement HA and server monitoring solutions.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value.
In this role, the selected candidate will troubleshoot and promptly resolve problems with Technical Center local network, personal computers, software, printers, telephones, fax, security and public address equipment; order computers, peripheral devices, software and supplies as needed following company purchasing policies and procedures.
In this role, the selected candidate must have a strong knowledge of SQL Server/Teradata architecture concepts and physical database design for very large databases in a SQL Server/Teradata environment.
