This Transition Project Engineer position leads the Engineering portion of sourcing transitions. sourcing transitions are projects in which Honeywell designed parts are moved from one contract manufacturer to another. Most Transition projects involve multiple Engineering departments at multiple sites, domestic and global, as well as cross functional teams which include suppliers, sourcing, procurement, quality, legal, contracts, and supply chain project managers.
In this role, the selected candidate will continuously compare actual plant equipment and labor costs and failure data to costing models to validate or refine O&M department estimates regarding reliability and cost of maintaining PV solar plants.
In this role, you will integrates, tests, installs, configures, and/or supports factory automation software systems. Coordinates factory requirements, maps them to automation systems capabilities, and recommends technical solutions.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible to works with design, project, manufacturing and quality engineers through the development process and ensures timely flow of information among and between engineering team members.
In this role, you will support prototype assembly and assist with test and integration. Your valued expertise will enable you to create and maintain project schedules, monitor status, identify key milestones, critical path and deliverables.
In this position, you will perform planning and execution of gun system development and testing projects, including voice of the customer techniques, requirements development and management, gun system definition, verification and validation, and risk management to design of gun systems.
In this role, the selected candidate will recommend alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures; responsible for design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems.
In this role, you will be responsible for
generates and obtains approvals of monthly billing and earned values. Develops and manages the project schedule on small or mid-sized projects. Analyzes targets and goals, job cost summaries, and other reports.
In this role, you will assists the project superintendent with the management of the cpm schedule for the successful execution of the work, including the coordination of the means and methods, manpower, equipment and material resources required to accomplish this goal.
