In this role, the selected candidate will confer with parents, administrators, school psychologists, and other professionals to develop; individual Education Plans (IEP) for each student in the assigned classroom as well as behavior plans.
Successful candidates will provide instructional services with the necessary educational expertise in reading, mathematics, writing, and/or related areas, diagnose learning skill deficits and deliver prescribed instruction in research-based formats as determined by the Company.
In this role, the selected candidate will evaluate and provide appropriate special education services to assigned children. Oversee activities of assigned teacher assistants and aides; communicate appropriately and in a timely manner with families of assigned children.
In this role, the selected candidate encourages active student involvement in learning by appropriate use of one or more, but not limited to the following techniques: signals, rehearsed responses and group discussions through higher level questioning.
