Coordinate, implement and document software configuration management (CM) and version control of mortgage and automotive mainframe and distributed (MS Windows and Linux client/server environments) solutions.
This experienced individual has a proven track record of developing quality software in a world class financial services organization within a latency-sensitive and data-quality-sensitive electronic trading environment.
Familiarity/working knowledge of system engineering concepts. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies and recommended requirements allocation to translate customer requirements into system level specifications.
This position will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical power systems. An intimate knowledge of electrical switchgear, motor control centers, transformers, emergency generators and protective relays. This individual must be able direct and supervise electrical power installations and repairs.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving problems with other Systems Administrators, Database Administrators, Software Developers, and commercial business colleagues.
The facility support effort includes inventory management of the software development facilities resources; maintaining the equipment which resides in the facility, ensuring that the equipment is available and operational, testing the interoperability of the equipment, assisting with the procurement, tracking, and maintenance of software licenses; and providing administrative support as required in support of these efforts.
