The Senior Tax Accountant prepares annual and interim federal tax provisions and income tax returns, including estimated tax and extension calculations. May also prepare state income and franchise tax returns for selected entities.
In this role, you will be responsible for
income tax compliance functions on federal, international. State and local levels. Functions include preparing and analyzing schedule ms, preparing and/or reviewing tax return workpapers on an annual basis, reviewing fixed asset tax books, researching tax issues, coordinating tax audits, and other tax compliance related to the other entities, benefit plans, and charitable organizations associated with the company.
In this role, you will perform general ledger account analysis and reconciliations for both balance sheet and income statement accounts to provide supporting information for the monthly / quarterly financial GAAP and Statutory financial statements.
In this role, the selected candidate will prepare and review of Individual Tax Returns for Fiduciary Trust clients; experience preparing Gift, Partnership, Fiduciary, Private Foundation and Corporate tax returns.
The Senior Accountant candidate will be part of an accounting team which supports a US registered Agency only Broker Dealer that self-clears and 10 various foreign entities of the Broker Dealer which have global reporting requirements.
