In this role, the selected candidate will focused on technology as well as simulation and design of FPGA in a hardware description language, performing timing analysis and closure, failure mode analysis, and testing.
Work as a software engineer developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex and diverse software systems, including processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, and the manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems based upon documented requirements. Works with the Departments Applications Group supervisor to develop, deliver, and implement web-based applications supporting Streets Department referrals and recycling plan submissions. Additionally, the application developer will develop SQL Server Reporting Service Reports (SSRS) in support of data accessibility and Department performance management.
Responsible for developing new capabilities in accordance with requirements predominately using Ruby and Ruby on Rails. Additionally, the developer will also address bug fixes for currently deployed software and will perform integration and testing as needed.
