In this role, the selected candidate develops and implements environmental programs and policies in compliance with regulation and Company policy including all environmental media- air, water, wastewater, storm water, solid and hazardous waste.
Responsible for the development, direction, coordination and overall management of the sites environmental, health and safety (EHS), and regulatory programs, procedures, training, work practices and controls for assigned facility.
This position will provide you with the opportunity to learn and work with a variety of equipment and issues including desktops, laptops, RF unit technology, network connectivity, Windows software, and much more. In addition, you will also be involved and responsible for aligning the IT strategy and roadmap for the Fulfillment Center to meet requirements set by the local Operations team.
The Site Safety Manager will lead a team of hourly safety team members: Safety Specialist, Safety Coordinators, Onsite first aid Associates. You will create and execute leadership development plans for your Safety Associates on the team.
