The Product Safety Engineer will create solutions that reduce or eliminate safety issues associated with products. They participate in the design process for new products in order to prevent injuries, damage to the environment, or to property.
In this role, the selected candidate must have an experience using the computational fluid dynamics programs FLUENT or Fire Dynamics Simulator (FDS) and Subway Environment Simulation (SES) program is required in the successful applicant.
The overall objective of the Safety Engineer is to promote a strong safety culture by providing safety and health expertise and ensuring that management systems are established and effectively used to maintain compliance.
In this role, you will participate in the design of semi-complex hardware and software application solutions; participate in tracking semi-complex orders to ensure that equipment, cost and delivery objectives are met by responding to customers promptly.
In this position, you will continuously communicate a positive message and a course of action to be taken. The position will be responsible for maintaining a positive safety culture throughout the Northeast Region that will cultivate the value of safety to each individual and be practiced at every level.
