The ADABAS Database Administrator installs the database management software on the enterprise server and is also responsible for applying patched and bug fixes and for performing major version upgrades.
In this role, you will be responsible to
interact with business analysts and developers to ensure the overall infrastructure design of business applications meets requirements of performance, security and high availability.
In this role, the selected candidate Hands on design and analysis of database tables is required as well as ability to create jobs using Autosys and DBI modules; reconciling transactions received, processed and pending/resubmissions in the Client property modeling transaction systems.

In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of mappings / transformations based on source-to-target specifications, development standards and conventions, performing monitoring and tuning of ETL jobs, and providing operational support to production ETL processes and code.
The Database Administrator uses specialized knowledge and expertise to implement, maintain, monitor, and ensure performance of databases. Plans and implements upgrades or installation of new components, if required.
In this role, the selected candidate must have an experience working with various database-scripting languages such as T-SQL, etc; experience working with alternate enterprise data systems such as MS SQL and/or PostGreSQL.
The ADABAS Database Administrator manages system configuration settings, including the amount of server memory and how its allocated, the number of concurrent user connection and open databases, and the number locks and sizing the buffer pools. These settings affect system availability and performance.
