The project accountant position is accountable for monitoring the progress of projects, investigating variances, approving expenses, and ensuring that project billings are issued to customers and payments collected.
In this role, you will be responsible for producing management reporting. S/He is responsible for quality assurance and will have direct client and senior management contact. In addition, s/he will provide input to process improvements and policy level direction.
In this role, the selected candidate will initiate training sessions for all new staff on finance policies and procedures including client estimates/budgets, reconciliations, timesheet completion/compliance etc.
