Assist in the design, development and manufacturing introduction of new and revised products. This includes creating design documentation, BOMs, DHF documentation, test processes and procedures, process and test tools and fixtures and acceptance criteria.
Design of mixed signal packaging, development of various integrated circuits and components, EMsimulation, collaboration with mechanical and materials engineering, fabrication and assembly follow, test developmentand support.
Assist HSS engineers, surgeons and external companies in the development of orthopaedic implants and associated instrumentation, using CAD (Pro/Engineer), imaging reconstruction software (Mimics) and rapid prototyping.
Communicate with management, engineering team, platform, production, and marketing staff utilizing effective proactive engineering tools to determine design feasibility, cost effectiveness, and customer acceptance for new and current products and refine requirements when necessary.
Join a close-knit team of developers with a wide range of skills to build and support always-on products (high-performance web sites, iOS and Android apps, apps for other platforms like connected TVs and game consoles) and the associated web service platform they run on.
In this role, you will develop designs; Source parts and contractors; Coordinate and support fabrication; Contribute to writing of operation and maintenance manuals; Support field team during installation, setup, troubleshooting and operations training.
In this role you will have responsibility for creating systems and tools to assist the software development team with building and deploying software, doing automated testing, and assisting with first-level production support. At a high level this will include:
Actively supporting product development projects by coaching teams to create Project Development Plans, Design Inputs and Outputs, Design History Files, Risk Management, Test strategy, Verification and Validation plans, Test Traceability, etc.
