The HR Project Manager- Global Payroll Tax will report to Executive Director, Business Travel Operations and act as both the Project Leader for US Domestic lane of work as well as the Project Manager (PM) for US Domestic lane of work within the Global Business Travel Tax Program.
Act as Treasury department's project lead for payroll, time & labor, oracle financials, cash management, accounts payable, and other finance-related systems for implementations, updates, upgrades, etc.
Manages the payroll function ensuring quality and timely processing of payroll activities to include: timecards and payroll processing, compilation of payroll statistics, reconciliation of payroll tax payments, filings and returns, annual W2 Forms, and all levels of record maintenance.
In this role, you will responsible for managing the Canadian payroll and tax function, while providing oversight of major projects that include organizing and documenting tasks as well as assuring Payroll and Tax responsibilities are completed.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for processing the bi-weekly in-house payroll for approximately 1,400+ employees; monitors the payroll time table for quarterly and special payroll adjustments.
Administer the functions necessary for the proper and timely processing of employee payroll data, maintain controls (Input and Output) associated with U.S. payroll using integrated payroll and HRIS system.
Creates and run various reports used for disbursements of voluntary and involuntary payroll deductions to various vendors, tracking of various payroll data for auditing and payroll compliance with various union agreements and labor law.
