The Systems IT Analyst will be heavily engaged in the support of the Firms distributed and mainframe environments. Monitor systems to identify malfunctions and Initiate corrective actions in a professional and timely manner when applicable.
Lead a team of technology professionals and advise software engineers through the development, application, testing of critical technology risk functions, included but not limited to: penetration testing, application security testing, business continuity testing, instrumentation, monitoring, detection and response.
Provide information assurance (IA) support to ensure security and assurance certification and accreditation packages are prepared and maintained in accordance with the DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) or Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Owning important IT security initiatives: e.g. improvements to authentication and authorization systems, fleet management tools, firewalls.Creating threat models to evaluate our corporate security posture.
Translate technical specifications, and/or logical and physical design into code for new or enhancement projects for internal clients; develop code that reuses subroutines or objects, is well structured, includes sufficient comments, and is easy to maintain
The Analyst will prepare training and process flow documentation of projects, IT procedures, reference guides and software related information and will conduct end-user training and development of associated documentation to ensure that policies and procedures related to new or existing services are current, relevant, and of high quality.
