Maintains and develops technical competency of self and technical team by monitoring/seeking emerging product and system technologies while leveraging customer opportunities to consistently position Metso EE controls as a leader in the metals recycling industry.
Working closely with Market Areas, Customer Service Representatives, Process and Project Engineers to provide technical problem solving and application support related to refurbishment, upgrades, and retrofit.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and testing electrical circuits as part of product development, in addition to troubleshooting, testing and evaluating Electrical Circuit Card Assemblies and systems in a Production environment. In addition, the candidate will be required to ensure that assigned project tasks are completed, meet established technical and schedule requirements and comply with companys Quality System Procedures.
As an Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for providing trade specific system design: layout (utilizing CAD/BIM); calculations (utilizing appropriate software); and other related design services including coordination with the designs of other trades (architectural and engineering / internal and external) under the guidance of more senior technical staff.
Management responsibilities include supervision of design and drafting staff, coordination with clients and associates, and organization of design and construction administration activities to meet established schedules and budgets.
The Quality Engineer Outage Services will support the Quality System needs of the Outage Services Division and provide a resource for developing and implementing good Quality practices while supporting the Divisions overall business objectives.
