The Special Assistant to the Editor-in-Chief will provide support in day-to-day tasks and managing special and ad hoc projects as well as newsroom priorities. S/he will help manage an event schedule in addition to providing event briefings, talking points, and other preparation materials.
Edit and write breaking news, service stories and features. This journalist will work with reporters and freelancers to produce content for digital, our Sunday Personal Finance print supplement and other print editions.
Coordinating coverage of stories with staff and monitoring their progress, which includes - updating crews in the field, insuring feeds are recorded and logged if needed, making travel arrangements, etc.
The Senior Section Editor will work closely with the Executive Editor and Managing Editor to make those assignments, as well as with our designers, TV producers, video journalists and other reporting teams throughout CNN.
The Database Editor will be responsible for adding and maintaining titles on the Product Master database. She or he will be responsible for ensuring that accurate bibliographic, purchasing, and commentary data gets added to the database, based on information she or he receives from publishers, vendors, and buyers.
Manage the assistant managing editor who handles web production, invoices, and social media, among other things and help oversee and deepen our social media presence to promote the brand and drive online engagement, creating loyalty and affinity for the brand.
