The Sr. Contract Specialist is responsible for coordinating with little supervision through interaction with, Account Directors, Contract Strategy, Legal and others, following all relevant SOPs and contract approval processes, to ensure contracts and all related documents are prepared and executed accurately and in a timely manner.
In this role, the selected candidate will analyze contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies and procedures, as well as proposed rates, costs and/or prices.
Ensure regular, timely and thorough communication with all internal parties throughout the document review process as well as timely, accurate and thorough data entry into departmental systems and databases.
In this role, you will coordinate with multiple cross-departmental functions regarding contract terms and assist in audits of contracts. Obtain all appropriate and necessary internal approvals for contract terms and provisions.
Drive good procurement practices throughout the organization, including implementation and adherence to the Intercept Procurement Policy which encourages the use of Request for Proposals, regular Business Reviews, approved vendor and consultant listings, etc.
