In this role, the selected candidate will responsible for overseeing the Compliance program, he/she will be responsible for activities such as developing and enhancing policies and procedures, review of sales and trading, and interfacing with senior executives, bankers, and regulators.
Duties include legal research and writing, international tax planning, taxation of financial instruments, mergers and acquisitions, partnershiptaxation, preparation and drafting of taxclaims, assistance in the design of insurance and financial products, support of marketing activities, and tax planning.
Responsible for analyzing legal developments and internal work product to identify and summarize the legal and regulatory developments affecting the firm globally and identifying key takeaways or practical implications of such developments.
