In this role, you will be responsible for monthly closing, estimate process and productivity reporting, analyzing and reporting the financial data for monthly presentation to management adhering to deadlines and required deliverables.
This position is responsible for assisting with the supervision of General Accounting Revenue/Assets and Expense/Liabilities team to perform transactional GL accounting activities, GL account reconciliations, and GL closing oversight related to the assigned revenue/asset accounts and expense/liabilities.
In this role, the selected candidate will perform all technical final financial statement review in addition to performing a variety of functions including audits, tax verses book adjustments, etc for a diverse group of private clients.
In this role, the selected candidate will participate in the month end financial close process, with an emphasis in meeting all deadlines, including review of staff work papers, accuracy and completeness of accounting entries, and extensive variance analysis.
In this role, you will be reviewing complex tax returns including: Federal and multi-State returns for C Corporations, S corporations, partnerships and high net worth individuals; to a lesser degree returns for: trusts, estates, and foundations.
In this role, you will be responsible for key initiatives and projects, driven by both accounting department internal needs and significant corporate directives, including creation of reporting models and metrics that will be used to evaluate key business areas.
In this role, you will analyze and approve standalone consolidating financial statements (Balance Sheet and P&L) for both statutory reporting and tax reporting purposes to ensure all intercompany transactions are appropriately recorded.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for preparing and overseeing important documentation of the Companys application of accounting principles as they relate to specific transactions.
In this role, the successful candidate will coordinate monthly close process which will include consolidation, management reporting and analysis, along with balance sheet reconciliations and GAAP compliance.
