The person in this position will plan and directs the production/manufacturing engineering function; and provides technical support to other engineering disciplines, manufacturing, or staff functions within the manufacturing facility.

In this role, the selected candidate will manage all personnel issues within the facility; including such functions as staffing, compensation, behavioral issues, termination, transfer and promotions. Manage, coach, and develop talent.
The primary purpose of this role is to deliver on product roadmap priorities to achieve time to market and time to value targets by managing the product development lifecycle for a given product(s) through proven technical leadership.
This position will be responsible for the validation, yield and continued quality and cost support of sensor products. This Position is based in San Jose and reports into the automotive segment Product Engineering Manager.
This position will also be responsible for production planning, liaison with engineering and supply chain on a variety of continuous improvement initiatives and change management of advanced manufacturing projects.
