The Sr. Project Engineer will be responsible for the production of conceptual designs and sketches, design development, supervision of the construction drawing process and overall project coordination with the Owner.
This position will perform technical/mission analyses of existing and future operational requirements, and assist in developing system concepts and perform technological/trade-off assessments of proposed designs/modifications.
Establish a detailed program specification through discussion with clients; clarify what actions the program is intended to perform; breaking down program specification into its simplest elements and translating this logic into a programming language.
Develops, maintains, and upgrades automated test scripts and architectures for application products. Also writes, implements, and reports status for system test cases for testing. Analyzes test cases and providesregular progress reports.
Organizing and facilitating integrated systems testing verification of controlled automotive systems including creating full vehicle testing plans and schedules during vehicle development, working with functional group members to correlate individual system test plans, conducting on-vehicle testing which will include instrumentation and data collection operation, operation of test vehicles on proving grounds and collection of measurement data of controlled system responses and characteristics.
The selected candidate must have ability to read Access (VBA) and Lotus Notes codes in order to refer to the code if there is a question regarding functionality; proven track record of hands-on technical design and code work within large complex systems.
Perform timely escalation of critical issues and proactively identify patterns of recurring issues to improve production; ensures that all production changes are processed according to Change Management policies and procedures.
