This position serves as a technical resource to support Amazon.com within its owned and operated data centers. The position will help ensure overall availability and reliability to meet or exceed defined service levels of data center operations.
The selected candidate will be responsible for understanding of general Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) concepts and messaging standards.
Strong personal discipline and communication skills as they may apply to interfacing with customers.
In this role, the candidate is responsible for the support of the sales representatives by providing technical knowledge. Design custom components and assemblies; work with sales, manufacturing and purchasing to bring design through production.
The selected candidate will be responsible for performing proactive monitoring identifying and remediating potential production issues. Ensure that all documentation is kept up to date and is accessible by the rest of the team and provide support and consultancy using appropriate diagnostic tools to all areas.
In this role, the selected candidate will support activities to identify deviations that could impact design intent and safety and product/process improvements; develop routine customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
