In this role, you will be responsible for writing hardware and software specifications, performing confirmation testing on the actual car and simulator, troubleshooting and fixing related problems, writing and presenting reports, working with component suppliers and other departments to resolve technical issues, researching new technologies and market trends, and making proposals for future products.
Ensure all design documentation is maintained and provided to the Contact Center engineering and support operations groups. Ensure any operational changes are well documented and communicated to support teams when new software updates are certified for production.
This responsibility involves adhering to system backup procedures, maintaining internal and external communications to file and application servers, and ensuring that all server/storage/backup related hardware and software is maintained and updated to optimize system efficiency.
Investigate component cost and weight reduction, and conduct feasibility for packaging electrical components and brackets throughout the vehicle as well as managing development projects, negotiating development & purchasing strategies, and coordinating with other departments, suppliers, and manufacturing.
Collaborates with developers and clients to develop precise business logic; participate in the training and support of lesser-experienced programmers; assist the programmer in interpreting and implementing departmental standards and guidelines.
The candidate will support engineering projects that involve design, analysis, testing, fabrication, and troubleshooting of electronic, mechanical, computer, and network components, subsystems, and systems that will be used in commercial and military environments.
