In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for development of layouts, preparation of engineering drawings, planning, scheduling, and coordination of activities of assigned subordinate engineers, and support of manufacturing operations and customers in resolving technical problems related to the aircraft structure and systems.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for coordination of design work with in-house staff as well as other design professionals including Architects and other Engineering disciplines.
In this role, the selected candidate will work independently with only general oversight and will be required to provide guidance to junior engineers; the candidate will be responsible for documenting work clearly and concisely.
The candidate should also have experience with the characterization of composite materials with ASTM standard tests. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the analysis of laminates, sandwich structures, bonded and bolted assemblies, and leading composite material characterization activities including: authoring test plans and test reports, data reduction and calculation of material allowable.
In this role, you will act as a key member of the global civil engineering team, engaged in analysis, design review, construction observation, and analysis of structural failures of wind and solar energy systems.
