Utilize your knowledge to drive the design through the full board development cycle, from requirements gathering, creating block diagrams, schematics, drive the hardware design through CAD and simulate it to ensure the performance of the hardware is in line with the expected specification.
The Electrical Staff Engineer practices company safety, quality policies and procedures, actively requires conformance, is responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with all Federal, State, local and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety and Environmental compliance and responsible for performing design reviews and pre-validation assessments to ensure the safe and environmentally sound start-up of new processes.
The successful applicant will become part of a small, diverse team of system developers tasked with creating next generational Avionics, Communications, and embedded system capabilities and providing technical support to existing, fielded systems.
Will be required to understand all aspects of SIL/Ground/Flight testing, coordinate and conduct SIL testing as well as travel to flight test facilities for ground and flight testing and provide field support as needed.
