Collaborate closely with the PMO, program manager, or function lead to ensure projects aligns with overarching program goals and benefits; lead overall planning efforts of the project(s), based on the project charter, and following the PMO project life cycle.
The Program Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the Carlton Forge Works relationship with a strategic account or selected accounts. The individual acts as the lead contact for our customers on issues relating to momentum business including order management, operational quality and delivery performance, change orders, pricing adjustments within negotiated contracts and other day-to-day business decision making.
Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment to ensure project serviceability. Responsible for key decisions such as vendor selection decisions, guidance on selecting equipment to best meet customer needs, expediting the scheduling of high profile projects to maximize immediate reoccurring revenue, determines labor required to staff project, etc.
Develops and maintains the client relationship as a function of the initial implementation and is primary point of client contact throughout the implementation lifecycle until transitioned to the program management team.
Collaborate with the development teams to design and document optimal systems solutions to meet business needs as required. Team oriented, with a collaborative approach for addressing challenges and solving problems.
Responsible for leading and managing corporate initiatives for our company as a member of the Program Management Office (PMO); responsible for managing relationships with stakeholder, business units, IT, functional teams and possibly vendor.
