The Senior Cash Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day monitoring, accounting, reporting and reconciliation of all cash balances and accounts; assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal control procedures around cash.
The Senior Accountant should be strong in US GAAP, IFRS, and have strong technical accounting skills, so ideal candidates have a public accounting background. Strong verbal communication skills are essential to this role.
The Senior Corporate Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger for the Corporate departments, the monthly close process for the Corporate departments, significantly involved with the preparation of SEC filings, assist in the preparation of the quarterly earnings releases, perform technical accounting research, internal controls, and various special projects.
In this role, the selected candidate will prepare monthly balance sheet and expense account reconciliations, which includes researching and resolving reconciling items, as well as documenting and evaluating current procedures.
In this role, the selected candidate performs diversified accounting and auditing assignments under the direction of supervisor, manager or partner; demonstrates competency in technical skills, work quality, and application of professional and Firm standards.
The ideal candidate has experience with multiple element arrangements, complex revenue transactions, can think strategically on a process level, and also execute in the details. This role will be reporting to the Accounting Manager.
In this role, you will prepare financial reports by reporting journal entries, verifying, consolidating, and reconciling transactions.
Review general ledger for accurate A/R and A/P entries and as well as posting necessary journal entries.
