In this role, you will apply advanced data mining techniques to build models to optimize marketing activities on eBusiness and on customer journey (customer acquisition, up sell and cross sell, and customer experience and retention).
Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, machine learning, data mining, and data visualisation to identify and communicate key product trends and opportunities in how Snapchat creates and surfaces Live Stories, Discover, and other Snapchat experiences.
Manages personnel issues, including staff supervision and training, recruitment of new staff, assistance with the hiring process, completion of performance evaluations, motivation, counseling and directing staff, and resolving work-flow issues.
Working closely with our Engineering team, you will be tasked with solving interesting technical challenges, such as designing techniques to push our products forward, deploying algorithms to handle our scale, and improving the experience on company for millions of people every day.

Supports or initiates the planning of optical design and analysis projects and works with other scientists in the design phase to develop innovative designs or modifications in order to meet project goals.
