The principle function of the Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor is to provide safe patient care by assisting Clinic Providers with treatments, procedures and clerical duties as defined in the Registered Nurse Scope of Practice.
In this role, the selected candidate will review all documentation from admission to discharge from patient care inter-disciplinary team to oversee case conference effectiveness in coordinating care and evaluating RN performance.
In this role, you will evaluate nursing competencies and decisions according to current nursing practices. Conducts monthly staff meetings to evaluate departmental needs and to communicate operational updates.
The RN - Nurse Supervisor is responsible for supervising nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and within scope of practice coordinates care delivery, which will ensure that patient's needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice through physician orders, center policies and procedures, and federal, state and local guidelines.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for first line supervision of hospice and/or home health nurses and aides and other
patient care staff: including interviewing, hiring, monitoring assessments and evaluating personnel.
