Manage all aspects of assigned project services work, utilizing a staff of site superintendents, site supervisors, foremen, equipment operators, health and safety staff, and field technicians; ensuring profitability and health and safety compliance of projects.
Responsible for the management, performance and completion of single or multiple high technology programs that require the development (hardware and software), manufacture, and test of electronic and electro-mechanical systems.
The Program Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the Carlton Forge Works relationship with a strategic account or selected accounts. The individual acts as the lead contact for our customers on issues relating to momentum business including order management, operational quality and delivery performance, change orders, pricing adjustments within negotiated contracts and other day-to-day business decision making.
Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment to ensure project serviceability. Responsible for key decisions such as vendor selection decisions, guidance on selecting equipment to best meet customer needs, expediting the scheduling of high profile projects to maximize immediate reoccurring revenue, determines labor required to staff project, etc.
Manages, oversees, monitors and approves all elements of assigned program activities from inception to completion including proposal development, product design, procurement, subcontracting, manufacturing, testing, delivery, installation and acceptance of products.
Provides project, service line or product line management, management consulting, and analytical decision support services or technical expertise for a broad array of financial and operational issues. Responsible for more complex multi-faceted projects and analyses across disciplines and functional areas.
Drive project execution activities from initiation through post go-live support; active listener with ability to communicate with all team members (internal and external) including project management concepts / value statements, high level technical concepts.
Participate in negotiations as required with the customer as well as internally with various functional departments for performance of work packages to specification; within time and cost constraints to assure profit objectives are met.
Develops and maintains the client relationship as a function of the initial implementation and is primary point of client contact throughout the implementation lifecycle until transitioned to the program management team.
